Two or three days has reached Overwatch an upgrade that many fans have been waiting for a long time: Doomfist has landed in the Talon ranks with a significant improvement in the rewards of booty boxes and game recording system in Featured redesigned. However, with all these improvements, it is possible to find in the patch notes one of the new balance sheet adjustments in the game play.

"She has adjusted respawn time to limit defense strategies based on time wastes where the attacking team has a clear advantage and play aggressively. The community was quick to ring in the Battle.net forums asking for a deeper explanation on this subject, and one of its chief design leaders Overwatch, Scott Mercer, came to the front to clarify the situation.

Mercer "We had a system before it increased the time respawn for the defending team, there were more attackers than the target defenders for 30 seconds," he explains . "The recurrence time of the defense team gradually increased to the maximum when attackers held at the checkpoint for 90 seconds. We just reset the time to start back more and more than 15 seconds after the attacking team has the advantage, and reached the maximum slowdown 75 seconds. "

He further states that the timer is reset to zero if the attackers immediately leave the area for a while, but disputes with the goal itself. The ultimate goal of this adjustment is to prevent the opposing team constantly challenging the target using absurd tactics in a desperate attempt to give his team more time to regroup.

The patch in question is already available for Overwatch, but Doomfist still blocked for competitive games.
