Today's update prepares the game for the new content block.
Warframe's most ambitious free upgrade, the Eidolon Valley, has escaped fans' questions about a release date since its announcement, but everything indicates that we will know when we can enjoy it.
According to Rebb Ford on Twitter, fans may stop joking about the release date today when Digital Extremes shares a launch plan for expansion. For now, the game undergoes a maintenance period to take account of the content, so it seems clear that it is sooner than later.
For those who do not know the idea behind Eidolon's Plains, this is a huge free upgrade which includes a large open world map as well as new missions and warframes. Warframe is available in Free to Play format on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
