After eleven years on the market, Sony announced the end of production of PlayStation 3 in the Japanese market, where, still today continues to make the PS3 model Super Slim 500GB.

Available in Japan since November 2006, it is estimated that the Sony console has sold more than 85 million machines worldwide. Throughout his life, he has received exclusive titles from the likes of The Last of Us, the Uncharted trilogy, God of War III, Metal Gear Solid 4, Souls Demon or Ni No Kuni among many other titles.

With PS4 currently on the market, and the recent launch PS4 model Pro, some analysts believe that Sony's new console, the PlayStation alleged 5, hit the market in 2018.
